Method for Determining the Charging Pressure of Accumulators

The accumulator needs to be inflated using an inflation tool. When inflating, slowly turn the inflation switch, and immediately turn it off after inflating. Then turn on the air release switch to release any residual gas from the gas path. During the inflation process, attention should be paid to using the shut-off valve and pressure reducing valve between the inflation tool and the nitrogen cylinder. Before inflation, first activate the shut-off valve, then slowly open the pressure reducing valve and slowly inflate to avoid damage to the capsule. After the pressure gauge pointer indicates that the inflation pressure has been reached, close the shut-off valve. Subsequently, turn off the inflation switch and the inflation is complete diaphragm accumulator charging kit.

Accumulators used for different purposes have the following inflation pressure:

  1. If an accumulator is used to mitigate impact, the inflation pressure is usually based on the working pressure or slightly higher pressure at the installation location.

When an accumulator is used to absorb the pressure pulsation of a hydraulic pump, it is generally charged at 60% of the average pulsation pressure diaphragm accumulator charging.

  1. If an accumulator is used to store energy, the pressure at the end of inflation shall not exceed 90% of the minimum working pressure of the hydraulic system, but shall not be less than 25% of the maximum working pressure.

When an accumulator is used to compensate for pressure deformation caused by temperature deformation in a closed circuit, its inflation pressure should be equal to or slightly lower than the minimum pressure of the circuit parker bladder accumulator catalog.
